Definitions and Meaning of Education

The term "education" has a broad definition, making it difficult to define it precisely. Although there are no direct questions on definitions in the NTA Exam pattern, some of the remarks are included for better memory of the concept of education.
Education, teaching, and learning are all intertwined words. Learning, not teaching, is the goal of education. Teaching is one method of getting kids to learn, but it is not the only one. Education is the cornerstone to all that is good in today's world.
Education is important not just for the past and present, but also for the future. Education not only teaches our students facts, but it also teaches them how to think critically.
Education, according to Swami Vivekananda, is the realization of man's inherent perfection. Education, according to Aristotle, is the "formation of a sound intellect in a sound body."
'Education is the natural harmonic and progressive development of man's innate qualities,' according to Heinrich Pestalozzi. This notion implies that every human being possesses a vast natural, inborn gift or skills. Education supplies him or her with a development-friendly environment.‘Education is a process through which the kid develops his or her inner potential in such a way that it can contribute meaningfully in the external environment,' says Frobel. ‘The objective of education is to broaden the individual's life so that he or she can participate in the all-pervading spirit that manifests and realizes itself in and through the entire universe.'
